For
many years the holiday secret of the Spanish
escaping the Summer heat of inland cities, the
Costa de la Luz is gradually becoming more
known - yet still continues to retain its
traditional rural charms and cultural history.
Our hilltop ´white village´ of Vejer
de la Frontera (below) is a
UNESCO
World
Heritage site - with local shops, tapas bars
& restaurants tucked around every corner.

"We were both
blown away by how beautiful Andalusia is as
well and looking back through the photos of
Cadiz, Jerez, Vejer and Granada we cannot
believe that we did so much and still feel so
relaxed. You have created a really wonderful
place there and I hope you and the estate
continue to thrive."

With 265 days of regional festivals
& fiestas every year, a number of
coveted Blue Flag beaches and five protected
National Parks this corner of Spain is a vibrant living window into
the country's rich natural heritage.

"We
have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and every
aspect of the estate and the Casita has been
excellent for our needs. Geographically in an excellent spot to
explore both beaches and resorts, and inland
villages, towns and cities yet still retaining
“The Real Spain”.
Nature
Lovers
There
is also a wealth of choice for nature lovers
too - from whale & dolphin- watching to
exploring one of the stunning regional National Parks,
including Donaña & Los Alcornocarles by wildlife
safari with experienced local guides.
"We
thoroughly enjoyed our time in El Sueno it was
a great place to really relax and we were
very impressed with how many
interesting things there were to do in the
local area. Your house book suggestions were spot
on and we did a lot of the things you
recommended. We didn't manage to get to
Seville though as we decided to focus on the
local area - the furthest we went
was Sanlucar, once for sherry
tasting and looking around and again to do the
boat trip into the national park which was
great. Thanks for all your help in
the planning stages and do pass on our thanks
to Chus who was very friendly and helpful
throughout.
