"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Sueno's Mimosa Casita, thank you very much. It is a wonderful spot, so peaceful and quiet, you really do feel like you have the place to yourself. The pool was blissful, I enjoyed floating around in the sun gazing at the blue sky and bougainvillia immensely. And the cottage is so pretty and homely, we instantly settled in and started planning our week with the help of your indispensable information booklet! As it was such a last minute booking we didn't have time to research the area but were delighted to see you had done it for us. We managed to visit several beaches, Mangueta and Bolonia being our favourites, and a couple of the restaurants you recommended as well which were also highlights of our trip. I trust the staff put our leftover food to good use, and we left our beach umbrella in case the next guests found it useful (although the bottom of the pole snapped off the first time we used it so it's not in perfect condition!)

We mastered driving on the right side of the road and made several trips into Vejer de la Frontera - such a charming hillside town, and visited many of the artisan's shops highlighted in your information book. We spent several hours just wandering those pretty, narrow streets and admiring the panoramic views across the countryside. We were pleasantly surprised with what the area had to offer and were more than satisfied with El Sueno as our base for the week. I'm so glad I found your website in time so we could enjoy your wonderful casita knowing we were doing out bit towards responsible tourism and sustainable practices in the region. Keep up the good work! We shall definitely consider El Sueno for future trips to Andalucia, I couldn't think of a nice place to stay where you can come and go as you please with help on hand should you need it. Thanks for everything. I saw approaching 100 species of birds even in the few moments I had to devote to it. Pick of the bunch was probably the bald ibis (three came over the finca one morning), but it was also an experience being woken up nightly by a red necked nightjar - you have one not too far away - and being scolded on the patio in the mornings by the nesting melodious warbler! The villa was great - we liked the dining table out the front although never got around to trying out the hammock - I guess too much time spent on the beach! Having the fence around the pool was such a comfort, as Claudia can so quietly wander off - knowing it was entirely gated/fenced did give peace of mind. I love the view out across to the windmills.
