Casa del Sueño

The 'House of Dreams' is the original cortijo  with Moorish origins,  beautifully  renovated to include four luxury en-suite bedrooms whilst still retaining its sense of history and local character.  With its own  infinity swimming pool, separate entrance & drive as well as its location at the heart of the estate over 150m from the other cottages, it remains very peaceful & private.

It harmonises modern comforts and technology, including WiFi throughout,  with traditional local design and architecture to provide a unique and very spacious country house full of charm in peaceful, private surroundings.   

Space to Relax

There are two sitting rooms with open fireplaces and comfortable sofas & armchairs, and another quiet seating area upstairs.   The Snug also has satellite (a choice of freeview UK & European) television, i-pod docking station & a DVD player with use of our  private collection of  films.  The dining room seats eight around a large antique oak table, with a granite-topped bar & fridge to the side - ideal for entertaining.

Al Fresco

French doors  from both the large front sitting room and the dining room open onto the cool tree-shaded stone patio with views West to Vejer and amazing sunsets.  Here you will find hardwood sunbeds and another  sofa & two large armchairs for relaxation.  For al fresco dining under the stars, or shaded porch, there is a traditional barbeque and another large wooden table & chairs.   

In the cooler winter months, there is under-floor heating in every room as well as open log fires in both sitting rooms, with a weekly load of quality, seasoned wood complimentary.

The infinity swimming pool with panoramic views, shaded tree trunk pergola, bar area and bathroom & changing room.

Prices quoted are in Euros per week and do not include IVA, currently 7%.   Sterling prices given on request.   * Short Breaks between 1 November to 31 Jan (excluding Christmas & New Year, 20 Dec 08 - 2 Jan 09) - stay up to four nights for 70% of weekly rate, subject to availability.

Please note - for the comfort of other guests, the Casitas and the Casa del Sueño are pet free and non-smoking.  However, Guide & Hearing dogs are always welcome.
